Sessions Court Lahore has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to register a case against Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam.
The Additional Sessions Judge issued the order after hearing the petition of Hamiza Mukhtar.

The FIA Cyber Crime submitted its report to the court, according to which Hamiza Mukhtar had applied for intimidation and blackmail.

The FIA told its court that Babar Azam did not join the inquiry his brother Faisal Azam was present at the place. According to the report, Faisal Azam has sought respite for Babar Azam to appear.

The FIA told the court that Babar Azam had not yet joined the inquiry and had not recorded a statement.

It also said that Babar Azam’s non-appearance showed his guilt in the matter.

The court disposed of the application by ordering registration of the case and action as per law.
